LitBuy survived a shutdown rumour; here is how a Hacoo shopper can test it without much at stake

Last updated .

Short answer: LitBuy was open on 5 October 2026; a June 2026 rumour that it was closing turned out to be false, according to rep.tools. Beyond that, its public record is thin: Trustpilot has withdrawn its score after removing reviews it judged not genuine (585 reviews, newest 21 September), and we found no published fee, storage or photo terms in our check. For a Hacoo shopper that means testing it with a small, well-matched order and reading every number at checkout.

The rumour, and what it teaches

In June 2026 a story spread that LitBuy was closing. It wasn't: the rep.tools directory reported the rumour as false, and LitBuy was still operating at its 31 August status check and taking reviews into late September. For Hacoo shoppers new to agents, the episode is a useful lesson. Agent news travels through TikTok and Discord faster than it can be checked, and two real closures in August 2026, CNFans and AllChinaBuy, made people quick to believe the next one. The answer is the same each time: look for a dated source, and never keep more money in an agent than the order in front of you.

Check the date on any agent news; pay per order so rumours can't hurt you.

Thin public terms are common among younger agents, but they shift the burden onto you. Compare that with Superbuy, which publishes every fee, or with KakoBuy, whose storage and photo terms are documented by directories.

Operating, but you'll learn its terms at checkout rather than in advance.

Testing LitBuy with little at stake

  1. Pick two or three items you've already matched from Hacoo or a Hacoo spreadsheet, ideally light ones.
  2. Read every line at checkout: item, domestic shipping, any service charge.
  3. Pay for that order only. Nothing extra loaded into the wallet.
  4. Note how long items take to reach the warehouse and how detailed the photos are.
  5. Get a shipping quote and compare the full total with Hacoo in our calculator.

After one order you'll know more about LitBuy's real costs than any directory can tell you, and you'll have risked very little to find out.

One small order is the best review you can get.

Bringing Hacoo finds to LitBuy

LitBuy, like every agent, can't use Hacoo links. Save the product photo from the Hacoo app, search for it with Google Lens or the Taobao app, and check the size chart and material line before trusting a match. Then paste the marketplace address into LitBuy. If you later decide LitBuy isn't for you, the same address works in any other agent; our converter makes the switch a single paste. The Hacoo-to-agent guide covers the search.

Your marketplace link is portable; you're never locked in.

What to watch in recent reviews

Without a score, individual reviews carry the weight. Look for repeated complaints in the last few months: items stuck at the warehouse, shipping quotes that change after packing, slow replies, refund delays. One complaint is noise; the same complaint from several people in the same month is a pattern. Compare with what you see in your test order.

If you'd rather avoid the uncertainty, choose an agent with documented terms from our status list, or send a screenshot to our WhatsApp service for a single delivered price paid per order.

Patterns in recent reviews matter more than any single story.

LitBuy or Hacoo for a small order

For one or two light items, Hacoo's single checkout is hard to beat on effort, and its return window gives you 15 days after delivery to change your mind. LitBuy only starts to make sense when you have several items to combine or when seeing the item before it ships matters more than speed. Since LitBuy's terms aren't published in detail, a fair comparison means getting a real checkout total and a real shipping quote from LitBuy, then putting both next to Hacoo's total in our calculator. If the gap is small, choose on returns and photos rather than price; the Hacoo vs agents page explains that trade.

LitBuy questions from Hacoo shoppers

Is LitBuy shutting down?

Not as of our check on 5 October 2026. A rumour in June 2026 claimed LitBuy was closing; the rep.tools directory found it false, and its status board listed LitBuy as operating on 31 August. Trustpilot also showed reviews as recent as 21 September. Rumours like this spread fast on TikTok, so check a dated source before acting on one.

Why is LitBuy's Trustpilot score missing?

Trustpilot withdrew it after detecting a guideline breach and removing reviews it judged not genuine. The profile still shows 585 reviews and a Hong Kong address, but no TrustScore. That neither condemns nor clears LitBuy; it just removes one signal. Read individual recent reviews for patterns, such as delays or refund issues, and give them more weight than old ones.

What does LitBuy charge?

We could not find a published fee table, storage term or photo allowance for LitBuy in our 5 October 2026 check; its site renders mostly in the browser and directories didn't list firm numbers. That doesn't mean the charges are high, only that you have to read them at checkout. Compare the final totals with a Hacoo order before switching.

Can LitBuy buy something I found on Hacoo?

Only via the marketplace. LitBuy wraps Taobao, Weidian and 1688 listings, according to rep.tools, and like all agents it can't buy from the Hacoo app. Trace the Hacoo item with an image search, confirm the size chart and material against the Hacoo listing, then paste the marketplace address into LitBuy.

How should I test LitBuy safely?

Use one small order of two or three items you've matched carefully, paid as you place it, with nothing extra loaded into the wallet. Read every line at checkout and the warehouse photos before approving shipping. If the experience is good, scale up; if anything is unclear, ask support and keep screenshots. That limits what a bad experience can cost.
