Put one order through both checkouts: a calculator for Hacoo against a shopping agent

Last updated .

Short answer: Type the Hacoo checkout figures on the left and the agent figures on the right, using the same currency, and the calculator totals both routes. It applies Hacoo's published surcharge of $5 per extra 0.5 kg above 3 kg, and adds the agent's item price, domestic shipping, service fee, international shipping and any tax you'd pay on delivery. Nothing is built in or estimated for you, because fees change by country, line and week.

Use the same currency in every box. Leave a box empty if it doesn't apply.

Weight is the number people guess worst. Shoes in boxes and padded jackets weigh more, and agents may bill bulky parcels by volumetric weight instead. Our shoe page explains why boxes matter, and each agent page on our status list notes what that agent publishes about fees.

Real numbers from today's checkouts give a real answer; guesses give a guess.

Reading the result

The calculator gives a total for each route and the difference. Treat a gap of a few euros as a tie: the routes differ in more than price. Hacoo gives you a 15-day return window after delivery but no photos beforehand; an agent gives you photos in China and the chance to fix problems there, but returns after shipping are rarely practical. Our Hacoo vs agents comparison goes through those trade-offs, and the Hacoo delivery and returns page sets out Hacoo's terms.

Taxes differ by country. In the EU, VAT applies from the first euro, plus a €3 customs duty per item category on low-value IOSS parcels since 1 July 2026. Country pages for Germany, Spain, the UK and the US explain what to enter.

A small difference means choose on returns and photos; a big one means choose on price.

If you'd rather skip the arithmetic, send a link or screenshot to our WhatsApp service. We quote one price that already includes delivery to your door, send photos of the actual item before it leaves China, and you pay per order. For finding the same item through an agent yourself, start with the Hacoo-to-agent guide and the link converter.

Calculator questions

Why doesn't the calculator include agent shipping prices?

Because they change too often and depend on the line, your country and the parcel's weight and size. A built-in rate would be wrong for most visitors within weeks. Instead, open your agent's shipping estimator, note the per-kilo price and any fixed fee for the line you'd use, and type them in. The result is then accurate for your order today.

How does the Hacoo weight surcharge work in the calculator?

Hacoo's shipping FAQ says parcels over 3 kg pay the basic fee plus $5 for every extra 0.5 kg. The calculator rounds the weight above 3 kg up to the next half-kilo and adds $5 for each step, so 3.2 kg adds $5 and 4.0 kg adds $10. If you enter Hacoo figures in another currency, convert that surcharge yourself.

Which tax figure should I enter?

Enter only tax you would pay separately, on delivery. If a Hacoo checkout or an agent's duty-paid line already includes VAT and duty, leave that box at zero. In the EU, remember the €3 customs duty per item category on low-value IOSS parcels, in force since 1 July 2026. In the UK, VAT is usually charged at checkout on parcels up to £135.

Does the calculator account for returns?

No, and that matters. Hacoo lets you request a return within 15 days of delivery, paying postage yourself unless the item is faulty or wrong. With an agent, problems are usually fixed in the warehouse before shipping. If you're unsure about size, add a cautious amount to the route where a mistake would cost more to fix.

What usually decides the result?

Order size. With one or two light items, Hacoo's single fee tends to win because agent lines have fixed or minimum charges. As item count and weight grow, the agent's cost per item falls, while Hacoo's surcharge rises above 3 kg. Try your order at two sizes, small and full haul, to see where the lines cross for you.
