Simple reported fees, quiet reviews since July: OOTDBuy for German and Italian Hacoo shoppers

Last updated .

Short answer: OOTDBuy was up at the rep.tools check on 31 August 2026. A directory reports no fee beyond a customs declaration charge of about ¥8, 90 days of free storage (30 for problem items), free QC photos and card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments, and names Global Buypal UK Technology Limited as operator. Its public trail is thin: 22 Trustpilot reviews, the newest from 18 July 2026. It is searched most in Germany and Italy.

Simple terms, quiet reviews

OOTDBuy's reported terms are among the simplest on our list: no service fee, about ¥8 for the customs declaration, 90 days of storage, free photos. For a Hacoo shopper nervous about agents' multi-line bills, that simplicity is appealing. The concern is evidence. Its Trustpilot page held 22 reviews on 5 October 2026, and none was newer than 18 July. Agents with active customer bases usually collect reviews steadily, so a gap of over two months makes us cautious, not alarmed.

The 30-day clock on problem items

Most agents treat items with problems (wrong colour, missing parts, damage) differently from normal stock, and OOTDBuy is reported to keep them free for only 30 days. That's the period in which you contact the seller, through the agent, to arrange an exchange or return. Act on flagged items the day you see the photos. On Hacoo you'd have 15 days after delivery to do the equivalent, and you'd be posting from Europe; here the fix stays inside China.

Handle flagged items immediately; their clock is short.

Germany and Italy: where OOTDBuy is searched

In the keyword dataset we use, OOTDBuy's searches come mostly from Germany (about 1,000 a month), Italy (720) and Spain (390). Those overlap with Hacoo's European markets, where Hacoo quotes 15–25 days of delivery to Germany and Italy and 15–30 to Spain. German buyers pay 19% import VAT from the first euro, and the EU's €3 duty per item category has applied to low-value IOSS parcels since 1 July 2026. Our Berlin page explains how to choose a line that collects both.

EU tax applies to agent parcels just as to Hacoo orders.

From Hacoo to OOTDBuy

Trace the Hacoo product to a marketplace listing with an image search, check size chart and material, then paste the address into OOTDBuy. We didn't confirm OOTDBuy's own link format, so our converter gives you the clean marketplace address to paste rather than an OOTDBuy link. The Hacoo-to-agent guide covers the steps.

The clean address works in OOTDBuy's search.

Testing an agent with a quiet record

  1. Order two or three light items, paid per order with PayPal or a card.
  2. Note how long items take to reach the warehouse and how clear the photos are.
  3. Ask support a simple question and time the reply.
  4. Only scale up if all three go well.

Compare the result with Hacoo in our calculator, look at busier agents on the status list, or skip accounts with our WhatsApp service.

Your own small test is the most current review available.

What would change our view

A quiet review page can mean an agent is winding down, or simply that it stopped asking customers for reviews. The difference shows up in other places: new posts on its social channels, support replying promptly, and orders moving through the warehouse at normal speed. If you test OOTDBuy and those signals look healthy, your experience is more current than any public page. If replies are slow and parcels sit for weeks, stop and use an agent with steady public activity from our status list. Either way, pay per order and leave nothing in the account between orders.

Your own test signals outrank an outdated review page.

Because problem items have only 30 free days, check every photo the day it arrives.

If several items arrive on the same day, check them all before doing anything else. With short clocks on problem items, a backlog of unchecked photos is the main way buyers lose money with an agent like this.

OOTDBuy questions from Hacoo shoppers

Is OOTDBuy still operating?

It was listed as up on the rep.tools status board on 31 August 2026. Its Trustpilot profile, though, had no review newer than 18 July 2026 when we checked on 5 October, from a total of 22. A quiet review trail doesn't mean an agent has stopped, but it gives you less recent evidence. Test with a small order paid per order before committing more.

What does OOTDBuy charge?

According to the w2cspreadsheet directory, nothing beyond the item, shipping and a customs declaration charge of about ¥8. We couldn't confirm a fee table on OOTDBuy's own site. Read each line at checkout, and compare the total, including the international shipping line, with a Hacoo order using our calculator before deciding which route to use.

How long does OOTDBuy store items?

Ninety days for normal items and 30 days for items flagged as abnormal, according to the directory. 'Abnormal' usually means a problem such as a wrong item or missing parts. Deal with any flagged item quickly, because its shorter clock runs while you wait for the seller to respond. Keep an eye on both clocks.

Who runs OOTDBuy?

The w2cspreadsheet directory names Global Buypal UK Technology Limited as the operator and gives 2024 as OOTDBuy's starting year. We didn't confirm the company on OOTDBuy's own pages. A UK-registered name may reassure some buyers, but check the site's terms for the company details before a large order. Keep screenshots of your orders.

Is OOTDBuy popular in Germany?

Germany leads its searches in the keyword dataset we use, at about 1,000 a month, followed by Italy at 720 and Spain at 390. Germany is also one of Hacoo's top spreadsheet markets. German buyers pay 19% import VAT from the first euro, plus the EU's €3 customs duty per item category on low-value IOSS parcels since 1 July 2026.
